Cette semaine, meetatalent vous présente l’artiste Londonienne électro pop Saer Ze! prononcé (Zay) . D’abord rappeuse au sein d’un trio RnB, elle décide en 2003 de réaliser son premier maxi intitulé My Make-Believe ,un mini album orienté RnB et Hip Hop.
En 2005, Ze! réalise l’abum SHAMELESS
enregistré à Byron Bay en Australie, ou elle a obtenue un diplôme d’ingénieur du son. SHAMELESS est un métissage de genre musical (Electro,rock…), il fut également nominé dans de nombreuses cérémonies tels que Best Local English Artiste en 2006 ,(AIM, Malaysian Grammys), Most Outstanding Youth of the Yearen 2005 (AYA, Asian Youth Ambassadors).
Ze! et le producteur Ruben Debusschere vont bientôt nous présenter leur nouveau projet intitulé Dirty Disco Doll.

A face that has graced TV commercials by international brands like McDonald?s, Toyota and Pizza Hut, electropop songstress Ze! (pronounced zay) has come a long way and from a very experimental musical background. Starting out as a rapper in an RnB girl trio, Ze! released a first solo EP ?My Make-Believe? back in 2003 that saw her producing material from poetry to hiphop and DnB.
In 2005, Ze! released the ?SHAMELESS? debut album which was recorded in Byron Bay, Australia, where she completed a degree with SAE(School of Audio Engineering). ?SHAMELESS? was a mash of electro to rock to ethnic tracks. The self-released CD brought her several award nominations including ?Best Local English Artiste? of 2006 (AIM, Malaysian Grammys), ?Most Outstanding Youth of the Year? 2005 (AYA, Asian Youth Ambassadors).
Her music video ?Too Sexy? is seen on Hitz.TV, and her singles have hit the charts of national radio. Single ?Room for 2? was recently featured on an MTV ad by Noise Singapore and she has also grabbed the CLEO Magazine?s Young Achievers Award 2007. Ze! has headlined alongside artistes like Malaysian Idol Winner Jaclyn Victor, DJ Gabriel, KRU and collaborated with Malaysian Reggae Ambassador Sasi the Don, Transient Vortex, Helmut Kraft, Nostalgic Dance Orchestra, J Lyall, Dragon Red, K Town Clan and Vandal. Ze! has headlined a Red Sessions event, which has also featured Dimitri from Paris, Austin Leeds and Rasmus Faber. Recently played at the DanceValley festival in Spaarnwoude Holland and Blue Nose Sunday in the middle of Amsterdam City.
This time around, Ze! and producer Ruben Debusschere introduce a new project ?Dirty Disco Doll?. Think Madonna, MIA, Santogold, Kylie, Moloko, Goldfrapp and the new Nelly Furtado.
Apart from music, Ze! currently also co-owns and runs a fashion business/boutique with younger sister : OSIXNINE (www.osixnine.com)
